The Air Force 1 sneakers, a timeless icon of streetwear, find a second life here thanks to the expertise of Niv Air and Nin , shoemakers specializing in sneaker restoration. These artisans reinvent their craft by carefully cutting and assembling pieces of used sneakers to make a unique canvas, combining tradition and modernity .
This artisanal step is much more than just recycling: it is a revaluation of materials considered unusable, transformed into art supports. Their collaboration with Nicolas Crampel , artistic director of Kholab Fabrik, perfectly illustrates our vision: to merge art, fashion and ecology .
A work by Kekli: Street art and recycled sneakers
Once the Air Force 1 canvas was assembled, it was entrusted to Kekli , a renowned street artist on the French scene. Known for his smiling characters and playful approach to graffiti, Kekli designed a work that pays homage to the sneaker itself. Using dynamic red colors, respecting the codes of streetwear, he painted a pair of sneakers on a canvas made of sneakers .
Kekli, nicknamed the "Smile Maker" , has infused this work with a joyful and communicative energy, true to his style. This canvas, halfway between urban fashion and contemporary art , is now available on our website.
